Hucknall Late Afternoon & Evening Photography Outing – Low Light & Light Trails

Following our recent discussions on low-light photography and creative light-trail techniques, we are heading to Hucknall for an evening of practical photography in real-world conditions. The pedestrianised town centre offers an excellent variety of subjects, including illuminated shop fronts, street lighting, reflections, and atmospheric urban scenes. This is a great opportunity to experiment with exposure, white balance, composition, and capturing the character of a town after dark.

A short distance from the town centre, we will also have access to locations overlooking the road network and Nottingham Express Transit tram line, providing ideal opportunities to photograph vehicle and tram light trails. Members are encouraged to bring a tripod and, if available, a remote release to help achieve sharp long-exposure images. Whether you are new to night photography or looking to refine your techniques, this outing promises plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and produce some striking images in a friendly and supportive environment.
